The Lord initiated HIs 'Triumphal Entry' (Mark 11:1-2) knowing that the Jewish leaders would seek to destroy Him as a result (Mark 11:18).

• With worshipping wonder consider the precise fulfillment of detailed Messianic prophecy that was carried out in specific events in the life of Jesus (Zech. 9:9)
• With worshipping wonder consider the zeal of Jesus for the house of the Lord (Mark 11:15-17; John 2:16-17)
• With worshipping wonder consider the gospel promises made to faith-filled men and women of prayer (Mark 11:22-25)
• With worshipping wonder consider the judgment of God on the fruitless (Mark 11:12-14, 20-22)

With worshipping wonder consider that you and I would not have access to God, or His saving grace, unless He had designed that sinful men would kill Jesus for doing what God long beforehand said He would do.
