Kelly Update, Saturday AM
The doctors are still not sure what caused the pneumonia, perhaps body
trauma but more realistically from one of the blood transfusions.
Kelly's numbers look good: the sat# is 99, best so far, and all that
with just taking in oxygen from a nose clip. The doctors are hopeful that
she will be able to move from ICU to a room by days end. Kelly is
eating, talking, sitting, and making jokes about her aunt - a drastic
change from just a few days earlier.
Much is left to be done. Keep intercessory prayer prevalent in your heart.
Yesterday's devotional highlights:
From Oswald Chambers: "the altar means fire - burning and
purification and insulation for one purpose only, the destruction of
every affinity that God has not started and of every attachment that
is not an attachment in God."
From Charles Spurgeon:
(Morning): "He (God) has heard you in the day of trouble,
has strengthened you, and helped you, even when you dishonored Him by
trembling and doubting at the mercy seat."
(Evening): "when thou hast the King's ear, speak to Him for the suffering
members of His body."
