Services
Service Times:
- Prayer: 9:00a
- Preaching Service: 10:00a
We hope to see you this Sunday!
Describe a service:
The structure of our services tends to vary from week to week. However, there are some things that remain constant.
- Services are structured around the sermon text.
- Our goal is that Jesus Christ will be the Focal Point of every service
- Meetings are generally 90 minutes
- We strive to use songs that are rich with biblical truth. Our prayer is that the distinguishing sound of Grace will be the voices of God’s worshipping people
Attire:
Grace is unconcerned about what kind of clothes you wear. Dress comfortably, dress modestly.
Some people wear jeans, others wear casual attire, while some ladies wear a dress and some men a coat and tie. Our pastors tend to wear business casual attire. Our concern is seeking the face of God, not impressing one another. Come as you are. But by all means, please come!
GraceKids & Worship Nursery
GraceKids is a safe, secure, loving, friendly, and God-centered children's ministry of Grace Church for children ages birth thru sixth grade. GraceKids ministry takes place at 9:00AM while the remainder of the church is engaged in the corporate prayer meeting.
- Summer Schedule: GraceKids is postponed for the summer months, June-August. Children are welcome in the all-church prayer meeting at 9a. Some parents opt instead to rotate childcare responsibilities in one of Grace's classrooms while the other parent participates in prayer.
Worship Nursery is our childcare & bible teaching ministry during the 10 o’clock worship service for children ages birth thru
four. One reason for inviting children into the worship service at age five is due to the advantage afforded to kids who have an opportunity to observe their parents worshipping the Lord. Therefore, only the youngest children are provided an alternate place for childcare during the worship service. While in Worship Nursery, your child will be loved, cared for, and taught an age-appropriate lesson from the Bible.
Above all, our desire and prayer for the children's ministries of Grace is for the Lord to use them as a means of leading “the next generation to set their hope in God” (Psalm 78:5-7)
Sick Child Policy:
If your child has had any of the following symptoms in the last 24-hours you should not place him or her in GraceKids. If your sick child cannot be kept at home, they are more than welcome to sit with you in the worship service.
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Irritability
- Any non-clear nasal discharge
- Wet-cough
- Eye infection (draining)
- Fresh cold; or a sign of coming down with one (colds are most contagious the first day).
** The Team Leaders in each department have been authorized to turn away ill children for the sake of other children and caregivers.
