Sunday Services

Worship Service | 10am

We gather at Greenlaw Community Center in the Uptown Neighborhood in Downtown Memphis (190 Mill Avenue, 38105).
Our services are built around the day’s sermon text (click image) and patterned after a “Gospel Liturgy.”

Musical Expression

Our aim is for the voices of God’s worshiping people to be the distinguishing sound of Grace Church. We use instrumentality to help raise the voices, but not drown them out. The song lyrics are tied to the day’s sermon text, and aim at the glory of Christ.

The Lord’s Supper

We observe the Lord’s Supper weekly.

Who Should Take the Lord’s Supper?

Baptized Christians, who are active members of a gospel-believing church, and are forsaking all known sin, are invited to partake with us. Examine yourself (1 Cor 11)

Why Do Christians take the Lord’s Supper?

To reflect on the great gospel-love of God for us sinners by reflecting on the cross & resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. To reaffirm our confidence in the saving power and promises of Jesus. And, as a symbol of our fresh repentance from ourselves and our sin, and a testament that we are relying wholly on Jesus, ready to obey His commands, until He returns.

How Grace Partakes of the Lord’s Supper:

At the designated time in the service, the congregation is invited to the Lord’s Table. Those who come will form in small clusters around the room. One person in each cluster will volunteer to offer a prayer of thanks for the gospel work of Jesus and for grace to follow Him until He returns.

Families & Children

GraceKids: During the worship gathering, GraceKids is available for newborns through 4-year-olds.

Worship Nursery: Care is available for children during the worship service. Kid check opens at 9:40am, and closes five minutes after the service concludes.

Loud & Nursing Areas: We are VERY glad when God blesses families with children. We understand that young people can sometimes be loud. Therefore, nearly every service at Grace has a good amount of joyous noise from little people. If, however, your child is becoming a disruption to the service, you’re welcome to use the lobby area to calm your child and then reenter the service.
